INTRODUCTION & OBJECTIVES

The skin is exposed to exposome factors that aggress the skin and trigger oxidative stress resulting in skin ageing.1 In sensitive skin characterized by impaired skin barrier function and increased vascular reactivity, cosmetic solutions to reduce oxidative stress can go along with irritation.2 A dermocosmetic serum (VC serum) containing 15% pure Vitamin C and a cocktail of Vitamin E, maritime pine polyphenols, neo-hesperidin and fragmented hyaluronic acid was developed to limit the impact of exposome factors on sensitive skin.
