INTRODUCTION

Acute and repeated exposure to exposome factors defined as any disturbance to the skin may cause stressed skin.

Clinical manifestations of stressed skin include dryness, erythema, irritation as well as pruritus, erythema, pale skin and flares of inflammatory skin conditions.^1-6

New formulations are required to counteract the effects of acute stress on the skin.
