Some anti-cancer treatments are photosensitizing and requires broad spectrum UV protection against UVB and UVA rays. Even indirect exposure to sunlight requires protection, and the use of sunscreens (protection against UVA and UVB) is an easily accessible way to prevent these reactions. Therefore, educating and convincing pat ients to use this photoprotection method is a real Public Health challenge.
